I came to Skinny's to get my first short haircut after thinking about it for some time. Ana was able to get my shoulder level hair into a style of taper fade which I was hesitant about initially because I know my asian hair has a cowlick and sticks up when short. Ana checked in constantly about if I liked the length or wanted to style it a certain way, etc. I go to her every time now for my hair cut. Would recommend for anyone looking for that first long chop or just consistency with style.

Alex takes great care of my hair every time. The place is chill and the few times I have stopped in for a walk-in they've always been able to accommodate me. As you should, I always try to schedule through their website. Them being able to handle overflow when I don't have it together enough to plan it out though, is very much appreciated. Very much the old school experience I remember from going to barbershops with my Dad in coastal Texas from the 80's. Just how I like it. No pretense, just some barbers shooting the breeze while they take care of clients in a relaxed atmosphere. I used to feel like I had to go to Finley's to get a good haircut locally, because the barbers at Bird's can be hit or miss and I was kinda meh on the Barber For The People spot I tried once, but Skinny's has yet to let me down. And after Alex cutting my hair, I felt good enough about it to finally try to just get the one dude to cut my hair every time. Before that I just kinda took whoever I got wherever I was. Anyhow, good spot, good cuts, relaxed atmosphere and fair pricing. I recommend this spot. If you're looking to settle down with a regular barber, pretty much anyone I see working here looks pretty legit. I have yet to see any customers have any complaints while I've been there.
The shop is amazing! The staff is beyond friendly however we go there for Alex we've followed him for the past 9yrs. The best barber in town not for the just the cuts, but h3 makes you feel like family.
Skinnys is the best. I go to Tasha when I can (good cuts,good convo, always straight razor my neck line)
I can’t say enough positive things about this place! It’s great, got that old school, neighborhood barber shop feel. Staff is amazing, always great conversation to be had and Ana is especially awesome. They always have me looking my best and I get excited every time I get to come in for a cut and shave. Go to Skinny’s, you won’t be disappointed!
A separate barber shop completely botched my hair and Skinny’s fixed my hair free of charge today. That was very generous of them, and it came out great from what I presented them
